چکیده

Objective: to investigate immunotropic activity of the argenine-containing neuropeptide compound Lys-Lys-Arg-Arg-Pro-Gly-Pro in conditions "social" stress. Material and methods. The study was conducted on mongrel male rats 6 months age using a model stress based provision permanent residence animals sensory contact, as result which submissive aggressive types behavior were formed. All divided into groups: control I - who cage one at time received water for injection an equivalent volume; II groups stressed with behavior; three intraperitoneally injected dose 100 mcg/kg/day comparison drug Imunofan (Arginyl-alpha-aspartyl-lysyl-valyl-thyrosyl-argininum) average therapeutic 0.7 mcg/kg/day. following indicators evaluated: delayed hypersensitivity reaction index, antibody titer direct hemagglutination reaction, phagocytic peripheral blood neutrophils, leukocyte formula indicators. Results. results obtained course this indicate that arginine-containing contributes correction immune changes occur against background exposure chronic stress, namely, increase level anti-erythrocyte antibodies, total number leukocytes decrease neutrophils (phagocytic index), well restoration percentage ratio elements formula. Conclusion. Thus, showed presence immunocorrecting effect cellular humoral links immunity, actualizes need detailed mechanisms compound.

Fibrinopeptide A binds Gly-Pro-Arg-Pro.

The tetrapeptide Gly-Pro-Arg-Pro inhibits fibrinogen aggregation, probably by binding to the same sites used during initiation of fibrin formation. The Gly-Pro-Arg-Pro binding sites have not yet been identified. However, their possible sequence and locations have been predicted on the basis of the amino acid pairing hypothesis. One of these predicted sites is on fibrinopeptide A. We report here...

The reaction of the P2 protein from rabbit sciatic nerve with CNBr produced four peptides: a 20-residue peptide (CN3) containing tryptophan which occupies the blocked NHZ terminus; Peptide CN1, a large peptide comprising over 70% of the P2 molecule; Peptide CN2, a fraction containing two tightly bound peptides having 2 half-cystine residues and comprising the COOH terminus; and Peptide CN4, a n...

Mechanisms of Arg-Pro-Pro-Gly-Phe inhibition of thrombin.

Investigations determined the mechanism(s) by which Arg-Pro-Pro-Gly-Phe (RPPGF) inhibits thrombin-induced platelet activation. High concentrations of RPPGF inhibit thrombin-induced coagulant activity. RPPGF binds to the active site of thrombin by forming a parallel beta-strand with Ser214-Gly216 and interacts with His57, Asp189, and Ser195 of the catalytic triad. RPPGF competitively inhibits al...
